Cahaya Indah Villas perfectly captures everything I love about staying in Ubud. The combination of a private pool, luxury interiors, breathtaking jungle views, and complete peace and quiet creates a stay that feels both indulgent and authentically Balinese.

What made this villa truly unforgettable, however, was the incredible connection to nature.

One of my favourite daily rituals was sitting on the outdoor lounge simply listening to the sound of birds echoing through the valley. It was one of those rare moments where time seemed to slow down.

As the sun began to set each evening, bats would gracefully glide overhead, and every now and then we'd spot curious monkeys making their way through the surrounding trees. Watching the wildlife in its natural environment made us feel completely immersed in Bali's beautiful jungle landscape.

These simple moments became some of my favourite memories of the trip.
